This post will be my last post in January. Soo I will close this month with my nail art! *kibasponi* Tadinya tuh mau sesuai tema Imlek gituu merah, tapi gak punya nail polish merah T_T

Jadii.. Seperti yang udah disebutkan di postingan sebelumnya aku beli Etude Dear My Nail Polish. They nailed it! Aku suka banget formula Dear My Nail yang sekali poles udah cukup tebal dan bandel ini ternyata sodara-sodara! Maklumm.. problem sekarang itu adalah mencari nail polish yang tahan banting dipake kerja rumah tangga kayak nyuci piring, ngepel, sikat kamar mandi, nyuci baju, ngaduk semen, masang bata, gergaji kayu (eh keterusan XD), pokoknya yang banyak nyentuh air dan cairan-cairan yang agak keras gitu deh. Nahh.. Ini nail polish yang tahan! 

Terus aku kan sering blog walking, banyak banget bertebaran referensi nail art yang lucu dan kreatif di mana-mana. Akhirnya jadi kepengen deh bikin..ok tanpa banyak basa basi, ini foto hasil iseng-iseng main nail art bulan ini (mumpung lagi bisa pake XD)

Review Make Up For Ever Pro Finish

Gak terasa udah di penghujung Januari aja. So far, gimana resolusi tahun barunya, udah ada yang terwujud? :D

Aku mau share review Make Up For Ever Pro Finish, compact powder/foundation upgrade dari yang sebelumnya. Pertama kali dengar soal produk ini sekitar akhir tahun 2013 dari teman yang dulu kerja di MUFE. Katanya bedak ini keren banget hasilnya, flawless tapi ringan.

Aku sebenernya lebih suka menggunakan bedak tabur karena kulit yang cenderung oily ini. Pengalamanku dengan compact powder sangat jarang berhasil bertahan lama di kulit karena mukaku bisa langsung berminyak dalam waktu singkat, apalagi  bagian hidung dan dahi minyaknya bisa penuh kayak cadangan minyak bumi X)) Tapi akhir Desember kemarin aku iseng ke counter MUFE di Plaza Senayan dan tanya-tanya soal bedak ini kebetulan aku kehabisan primer. Begitu coba.. voila! hasilnya keren banget.. aku suka! gak berat nutup pori dan gak bikin berasa menggunakan compact powder.

Aku terinspirasi banget sama Lisa Eldridge seperti yang udah pernah aku posting sebelumnya di sini, tapi sering kurang pede aplikasikan make up seperti yang ditunjukkan di video-video Lisa. Paling sering aku berani make up "no make up", yang emang keren banget sih tipsnya and it works. 

But hey, this is 2014 right? Udah gak zaman lagi malu eksperimen make-up, apalagi sama muka sendiri hehe. Jadi aku beraniin diri untuk coba "Classic Smokey Eye" dan share hasilnya di sini.

Minggu lalu seorang teman menghubungiku, ada keluarganya yang butuh jasa desainer interior untuk renovasi kitchen set mereka di Bogor. Setelah ngobrol panjang lebar, dia kirim gambar sketsa denah ruangan dan ukurannya. Keinginannya sih mau bikin kitchen set kayak gini:

Dari pembicaraan sekilas akhirnya aku setuju untuk bikin moodboard dan perkiraan harga dulu sebagai teaser, kalo setuju baru kita masuk tahap desain.

Although we are now in digital era, I still cannot get used myself to reading e-book. Yet a table was supposed to be used as an e-book reader, I enjoy reading the on paper written stories. There's an authentic feeling that is irreplaceable reading a printed book which cannot be felt on e-book. Call me conventional, but that's just how it goes for me.

It has been months since I bought a book, it was "Litigator" by John Grisham, my very first book of Grisham's. Turned out it was not that bad! Now after I finished that book, I'm up to new ones. 

Yesterday I bought this three books:

1. Inferno by Dan Brown

2. The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith (the pseudonym of J.K Rowling)

3. Jactra Secret by Rizki Ridyasmara

Hari ini aku ada jadwal rapat di Kementerian Sosial sehubungan dengan renovasi interior, tapi mumpung orangnya belum datang aku masih bisa nulis blog dulu (thanks to Blogger app on iPhone, yay!)

Ok aku mau share tentang pengalamanku belajar fashion illustration. Beberapa bulan lalu di tahun 2013 dari hasil ngobrol dengan salah satu teman kuliah dulu aku dapat inspirasi untuk mulai belajar melukis lagi. Dari dulu aku memang agak lemah di lukis, tapi akhirnya aku lupa bahwa aku harus mengasah kemampuan itu. Setelah ngobrol dengan teman lama tadi, aku mulai niat mau belajar lukis dan gambar ilustrasi. Temanku itu bilang dia lagi suka dengan Katie Rodgers, yaitu seorang ilustrator fashion, web nya: http//www.paperfashion.net 

Dari webnya aku jadi tahu bahwa Katy Rodgers ini ternyata ilustrator langganan beberapa majalah fashion terkenal dan juga fashion brand seperti Kate Spade, dan lain sebagainya (check it out di web nya ya). Di banner iklan web nya ada keterangan bahwa dia juga buka kelas melukis di http://www.skillshare.com voila! Aku meluncur ke sana.

Eye Make Up Inspiration : by Jung Saem Mool

Hari ini aku mau share salah satu make up favorit untuk sehari-hari. Inspirasinya datang dari Jung Saem Mool. Untuk yang belum tau, Jung Saem Mool ini adalah make up artist terkenal di Korea Selatan. Kliennya adalah A-list selebriti Korea Selatan mulai dari aktris, aktor sampai musisi. Make up K-Drama natural look pun dia yang mempopulerkan. Jadi untuk aku, Jung Saem Mool dengan Lisa Eldridge masuk di daftar make up guru favoritku.

Selain sebagai make up artist, Jung Saem Mool juga sudah mengeluarkan line make up sendiri dengan brand M.U.L.E (Make Your Own Rule) yang sayangnya masih susah banget dicari :( aku lagi dalam masa hunting nih! Sempet nemu beberapa penjual online tapi sepertinya agak meragukan.  Waktu ada teman ke Seoul aku nitip tapi ternyata agak susah juga carinya :( Kalo ada yang tahu dan mau berbaik hati memberikan info di komen aku sangat berterima kasih lho XD

Ini video yang jadi inspirasi aku. Ada dua video yang aku cantumkan karena aku terinspirasi dari keduanya. Aku suka banget aplikasi eyeshadow tipis di ujung ekor mata luar, efeknya ternyata ke mata bikin lebih "terlihat" tapi gak terlalu tajam seperti kalo kita menggunakan eyeliner. Jadi cocok untuk gaya make up natural dan juga untuk day make up.

My today's skincare : Skinfood Black Sugar Mask + Strong Acid KANGEN + Beauty Water KANGEN

Hari ini aku mau sharing sedikit rutinitas perawatan muka aku belakangan ini. Sesuai yang aku tulis di sini skincare adventure aku lumayan panjang hehe, nah aku tuh sempet nyoba krim gak jelas yang aku dapet referensi dari temen mertua. Aku gak nyangka ternyata krim yang aku gunakan itu ada merkurinya, aku tahu setelah baca di Female Daily tentang ciri-ciri krim gak jelas. Setelah tahu bahwa krim yang aku gunakan itu agak meragukan, aku akhirnya memutuskan untuk mengobati dan mengeluarkan racun-racun krim itu ke klinik wajah. Pilihanku jatuh ke Smart Skin di Pela, Jakarta Selatan. Udah beberapa bulan ini aku perawatan di sana dan alhamdulillah cocok jadi gak pindah-pindah lagi. Aku suka banget karena resep dr. Harsono gak ngasih cream macam-macam dan hasilnya juga gak instan so I feel more safe.

Sekarang setelah kulit udah lebih sehat, aku mulai tambahin perawatan lain yaitu masker (waktu itu aku stop karena konsentrasi ke perawatan dokter). Masker kesukaan aku hingga saat ini masih Skinfood bahkan aku nambah koleksi masker Skinfood sekarang. Rangkaian masker favorit aku saat ini : Papaya Yoghurt Mask, Rice Mask, dan Black Sugar Mask. Penggunaannya bergantian biasanya setiap 3 hari sekali aku rolling. Hari ini aku menggunakan Black Sugar Mask.

Review: New Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Eyeliner

Maybelline gel eyeliner has been in my make up bag for about 3 years. I have compared it with Revlon and Silky Girl which turned out to be not that great so I keep my Maybelline. Now they renew the formula, it is said to be better than the previous one. But is that true? 

I purchased this product about two months ago. All I can say is, I prefer the previous one because this one dried so fast (like soo fast I didn't get the chance to use all of it).

First haul on 2014 : Etude , Happy New Year!

It's been ages I haven't write new update. A lot of things happen and I didn't manage to write my blog. Well, I guess I need to be more discipline from now! How are you doing? Firstly I'd like to say Happy New Year!! What is your resolution for this year? Have you accomplished your last year resolution? I haven't. Still got many things to do, but I'm still excited as ever for this year ^_^

Now I want to share my Etude Haul. This is my very first haul of the year 2014. It was actually not on my plan, I was about to buy Etude eye primer at first but then I stumbled upon their cute nail polish! So I bought these things and I got some bonus!

1. Proof 10 Eye Primer

I have been reading about this product in make up alley , it is said to be the dupe of the famous Urban Decay Eye Primer Potion. With the half price of the UDPP, you can get the same result. So I decided to give it a try. 

I never use eye primer before. Instead of the eye primer, I bought Shu Uemura cream shadow because they said cream eyeshadow can give you the same effect eye primer would. But unfortunately my Shue Uemura eye cream shadow was too white and too sparkly and sometimes my eyeshadow would not stay because I have an oily eyelid. So I decided to buy a real eye primer. 

Now on to the Etude Proof 10 Eye Primer. This one cost me IDR 178.000 at the Etude House in Gandaria City Mall, twice the price on the online market like e-bay which cost only USD $5. But I don't really mind because this one is still not overprice.

2. Nail Polish

This is an accidental buying (yeah right hahaha...) 

I could not resist the colours really! But there were many things that made me fall in love with their nail polish. Such as the colours, the applicator, and the result! I bought two nail plush and one top coat. The price is IDR 98.000 each for the nail polish and IDR 48.000 for the top coat. I found this nail polish to be superb on that price because Faceshop offers the same price for their nail polish but I'm not a fan.

This one is actually grey, but the photo turns out to be a bit more purple

This tosca green is absolutely gorgeous!

The Etude Nail Polish has that thick texture but liquid enough so for one application should be enough. The final result without the top coat is amazing! Without the top coat you can get the shiny  colour and also quick dry. The applicator is a big brush that surely makes the polish easy to be applied on nail. 

Along with my purchase, I received three gifts :

- Mirror

- Collagen moistfull (some kind of serum)

- Earrings holder (big one!)

Happy? Of course! The nail polish will be on my next shopping list for sure! ;)
